Saurines, is a golf course with 18 holes, par 72, semi-desert style, which merges with the surrounding landscape. It is designed by Jack Nicklaus and, therefore, has great similarities with the desert fields of Las Vegas and Arizona designed, also, by Jack Niklaus, but with a philosophy of linked holes.
It is characterized by wavy and green between sand dunes and greens with impressive moldings, some bunkers and an impressive central lake of 6 hectares. With its 6,498 meters it is a field where placement and strategy are fundamental. Holes 9 and 18 run through the lake, which guarantees an exciting final.
The Saurines golf course is a great contribution to the golf courses in this area and is well worth a visit. Since its inauguration in 2011, it has become a benchmark in the area, being very careful, offering good facilities and very entertaining greens.
In addition, Saurines, managed by the UGOLF company, will have, thanks to an agreement recently reached with Powakaddy, a fleet of electric handcarts FW3s. These carts will be available to players so they can enjoy their experience on the golf course to the fullest.
Saurines is built on an area of 69 hectares. It has been integrated into the landscape creating a type of golf course with native species, trees and low water consumption plants. The lake, has an area of 37,700 m2 of water sheet, sinuous forms, enters the golf course and extends in front of the apartments.
